| Denny Rewerts | | Stark County Economic Development Director | Denny Rewerts is the Director of the Stark County Economic Development Partnership office. Denny has been with the office since it started in 2003. The goals of the office that Denny works toward are to bring new businesses to our county, promote existing businesses in our county and help them with their needs and bring new families to Stark County. Denny works closely with the Stark County Board, the town boards of the county, and the Chamber of Commerce. He oversees the goals set in the 2008-2009 county MAPPING program, through Western Illinois University, which include our county schools, tourism, business retention and expansion, and vibrant downtown's and neighborhoods, and recreation.
Denny retired from Caterpillar, Inc. in 2001 with 35 years of service. Denny is a dedicated community volunteer. He served on the Wyoming city council for 8 years and was chairman of the Wyoming economic development committee during that time. He has been involved with the youth summer athletic programs in Wyoming and was instrumental in starting the JFL program in Stark County. Denny also served on the Wyoming school board for 11 years | | contact info | | | | Rich St. John | | Office Assistant | Rich joined the staff as an assistant to Dennis Rewerts in March of 2012, replacing Renae Chamberlain. Rich is retired and has held a numerous of positions over his career, lastly working with the Stark County Communications, a company with several newspapers.
